Description

This American Clay approved workshop is geared toward those with no previous American Clay plaster experience and for those who need a refresher course on the foundations of American Clay application. We will cover wall preparation, use of sanded primer, the traditional mixing system, trowel control, traditional application of Loma, basic Porcelina finishing techniques, and clean up.

Want to be listed as an Artisan/Applicator?

All you have to do is complete this workshop, apply 10,000 square feet of American Clay plaster to walls/ceilings with client references for work performed, and submit a recommendation from an American Clay-approved Artisan.

We will provide all of the necessary tools and materials for the class, but if you have tools you would like to try, please bring them. Serenity Finishes will be selling all the necessary tools and materials for an American Clay project at a 10% discount to students the day of the workshop. Please bring work clothes, something warm, and money for lunch.
