Description:
This is an introductory workshop for homeowners, contractors, and finishers who want to learn the basics of installing American Clay Earth Plaster. We will cover materials needed, surface preparation, American Clay products and application. Participants will help mix the clay, apply a base and final coat to 2’x2’ sample boards, experiment with various finishes, and compress the clay. Repairs, sealers, and tips for applying clay up against various edges and corners will be discussed. This workshop will provide participants with the basic skills and confidence to proceed with a project of their own.

Discount for participants:
Workshop participants are entitled to a first time clay purchase discount of 10% - valid for 6 months from the date of the workshop. Industry professionals receive an additional 5% off standard contract pricing for clay purchases within 6 months

Registration:
$45.00 per person. Pre-pay with cash or check only; includes light morning refreshments. Please register early. Space is limited to 6 participants per session as our space is small.
