Great observation, Susan. This video is very well done, and has a lot of good tips for applicators. However, we have found that, through years of experience working with American Clay, Enjarre works best when applied in thicker coats. We recommend a 2-credit card thickness per coat, as a minimum. A second coat is not necessary, but it can be added, if desired. When in doubt, you can always default to the manufacturer instructions as a way of protecting yourself. That will help you, at the very least, from a warranty standpoint if you have problems during an installation.

Thanks for posting your comment, as I'm sure others have had the same question.

About the union applicator demo of Enjarre...If one uses Enjarre as a two coat system (no additives) is there still an issue of failure if the applications are too thin? I understood that it was a one-coat product that was slightly thicker than the credit card...What is the company policy on trowel applications of Enjarre ... for the union and us. Is there any literature available on this?
