American Clay Color Packs

Each 50 lb. bucket or bag of American Clay Earth Plaster comes with a color pack in one of 42 colors of your choice (see Destination Colors and Natural Depths). The Price of the Color Pack is separate from the price of the Plaster. Mixing according to the instructions produces even coloration through out the entire plaster coat. The natural oxides and ochres used in our color line are resistant to the fading caused by UV light, allowing color matching for many years to come.

Custom Colors—In addition to our extensive line of 42 colors, we will prepare custom colors to match almost any sample you provide us. A $75 charge per color applies and includes up to two samples of each color you want matched. Color matches will be shipped to you within 3 weeks after we receive your request. Test our matching samples against your color, approve your choice of the match by signing the sample and returning it to us for production. Custom color production requires a minimum order of 3 Color Packs.

The highest quality mineral pigments and oxides are used to create our palette of colors. Since the pigments are naturally occurring they are resistant to UV fading. Imagine walls that don’t change color over time. American Clay’s plasters can provide minimal fade over decades of presence, thereby allowing repairs and changes in art décor without significant discoloration. Our pigments can also be mixed and blended by professionals to create an even greater range of colors. Please note our color disclaimer on our packaging: Every applicator produces a different texture to the surface of your walls-- which subsequently alters the color as seen on our sample sets. We encourage everyone to produce their own color samples with our plasters—thereby assuring a match to their expectations on each project.
