Forté White™ (50 lb.)
Forté White™ is a pre-mixed plaster that is designed and formulated to be as white and bright in color as is "earthly" possible.
Coverage: Approximately 200 square feet per 50 lb. bag (per coat).
Plaster comes without color pigment - color is Forté White (I-01) in our Illumina Series color palette.
Forté White™ can be used in its natural form (I-01) for the whitest tone achievable in our plasters. This plaster can also be used with a select number of American Clay's standard Forté White color pigments - the "Illumina Color Series."
Forté White™ cannot be used with any other color pigments, i.e. the original color series.
Surfaces with texture will require a thicker base coat, never more than 1/16 of an inch.
Recommended application thickness: applied as a second coat slightly thinner than 1 credit card over the base coat.

This plaster can be suede-like or smooth and waxy depending on application technique and preference. Forté White is used as a second finish coat only, over Forté Base plaster.
Forté plasters do not require the use of Up & EZ! binder.
