American Clay – making your life beautiful. Naturally.
American Clay Natural Earth Plasters bring the appealing finishes of Nature to your Home, Office, School, Business, anywhere you want to add healthful beauty to your interior walls and ceilings. Manufactured in and using materials from the United States, American Clay uses natural clays, recycled and reclaimed aggregates, and vibrant natural pigments in each of our three beautiful finishes: LOMA, PORCELINA, and MARITTIMO.

American Clay Earth Plasters surround your family or workplace with the warm beauty of soothing texture and rich color - far exceeding the interior surfaces produced by traditional paint, stucco, or other finishes. Earth Plasters are non-dusting, mold and fade resistant, repairable and moisture controlling.

Natural Earth Plasters from American Clay are easily adapted to Do-It-Yourself projects. The Traditional and Classic method of creating American Clay surfaces is non-toxic, easy to repair, easily reworked, and exciting to learn.

Loma
Our original plaster, Loma™ provides a surprising range of textures for interior walls. While always serving as a basecoat for all three of our Premier Plasters, LOMA™ as a final finish brings a finely honed polish to any wall surface. With a slight change in technique, LOMA™ produces sophisticated depth reminiscent of suede, whisper- subtle matte elegance, or rustic organic surfaces with true tactile appeal. LOMA™ is the easiest of our three Premier Plasters to apply either with a trowel or spray on application.

Porcelina
Our smoothest plaster provides the artisan with an opportunity to create traditional opulent Old World marble smooth surfaces. Capturing the architectural wonder and durability of Venetian lime plasters, PORCELINA™ lends a silky polished sheen to once bland wall surfaces without the laborious and hazardous sanding required of acrylic/lime and gypsum finishes. It’s decidedly epic—whether applied with a sleek hard- troweled finish, burnished for greater depth or layered, blended with color and waxed ---PORCELINA™ is the answer for elegant Italianesque or Contemporary walls.

Marittimo
The strongest of our three plasters, MARITTIMO™ draws its’ beauty and charm from the Mediterranean villages of Morocco and the playfulness and color of the Caribbean islands. Crushed shell aggregates give it strength. It is the shell itself that provides the speckle that adds depth and subtle sheen to any interior environment. Somewhat reminiscent of the ancient shell terrazzo floors of Italy and Egypt, MARITTIMO™ brings a soft patina that envelops a room with exquisite beauty. When reworked with a Lexan trowel, MARITTIMO™ imparts a glow unequaled in the world of plaster.
